Kyocera strengthens A3 TASKalfa monochrome copier and multifunctional offerings - 09.09.2009
New compact and economic entry-level devices provide improved efficiency and
reduced power consumption
Sydney, Australia – 1st September, 2009 - Kyocera Mita, one of the world's leading
document imaging companies, has introduced three new A3 monochrome copier
and multifunctional devices, the TASKalfa 180 and TASKalfa 181/221. Continuing on
from the success of their forerunners, the new devices offer increased efficiency and
up to 46 per cent less power per week compared with previous models.
The TASKalfa 180 model is a digital copier which can be extended to include a GDI
print function for Windows applications, whilst the TASKalfa 181/221 are supplied with
a print controller as standard. A scanner, fax and finisher can also be added if
required, creating complete multifunctional devices.
An automatic reversing document processor may be added to all models if required.
This allows 50 originals to be processed at once. Combined with the duplex unit,
available as an optional extra, professional double-sided copies can be made in a
single step.
The devices feature long-life components and respective speeds of 18/22 pages (A4)
or 8/10 (A3) per minute. They also boast a cutting-edge, versatile range of functions
and are highly cost-effective and efficient, making them the ideal choice for use in
small teams. Their weekly energy consumption measured by Energy Star is up to 46
per cent lower than that of previous models.
“We make digital copying as convenient, economical and environmentally friendly
as possible for users, saving users money on the upfront purchase price and over the
life of the product,” said David Finn, managing director, Kyocera Mita Australia and
New Zealand.
“Versatility, reliable job processing, robust components and the option of adding
functions as needed all combine to make these new compact devices highly
effective and efficient all-rounders.”rld's leadingdocument imaging companies, has introduced three new A3 monochrome copierand multifunctional devices, the TASK alfa 180 and TASK alfa 181/221.
